BLT Chicken Salad Sandwich with Bacon and Herb Dressing
This chicken salad brings the classic BLT flavors together in one creamy bowl: smoky bacon, juicy tomato and a tangy herb dressing. It is a smart way to use leftover or rotisserie chicken and works on toasted bread, in a wrap or in crisp lettuce cups.

Preparation Steps
Put the chicken, bacon, tomatoes, celery, red onion and green onion in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, stir the mayonnaise, vinegar, dried herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper until smooth.
Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and fold gently until everything is evenly coated. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
If you have time, chill the salad for 15 to 20 minutes so the flavors come together.
Spoon the salad onto toasted bread with lettuce, or serve it in large lettuce leaves for a lighter option.
Tips & Variations
- Seed the tomatoes before dicing so the salad doesn't turn watery.
- For a tangier version, use half Greek yogurt and half mayonnaise.
- Store in a covered container in the fridge for up to 3 days; add the bacon just before serving if you want it to stay crisp.
