Easy recipes, friendly cooking advice and a community of home cooks, on the web and in our apps.
Our story
Yummy started with a simple idea: cooking at home should feel easy and joyful, not stressful. We built a place where anyone can find a recipe for tonight, learn a new technique, and share their own dishes with others.
What you will find here
- Recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, salads, pasta and more, with clear ingredients, step-by-step instructions, cooking time, servings and difficulty. Many come from home cooks in our community.
- AI Smart Chef, an assistant that suggests meal ideas from the ingredients you have, ingredient swaps and quick cooking tips.
- Kitchen Journal, articles about healthy cooking, techniques and food styling.
- World flavours, from Moroccan and Arabic dishes to American classics and international favourites.
How we work on our content
Recipes shared by the community are reviewed before or after publication, and content that breaks our rules is removed. Articles in the Kitchen Journal are written or edited by our team. The AI Smart Chef gives general suggestions: always use your own judgement, especially for allergies, dietary needs and food safety.
Our apps
Yummy is also available as a free app on the App Store and Google Play, with your favourites, dark mode and the full Kitchen Journal.
Who we are
Yummy is an independent project created and operated by Karim Lahmar, with a small team of cooks and developers who love good food. We are funded by advertising, which keeps the website and apps free for everyone.
