No-Bake Chocolate Oreo Biscuit Bars
These no-bake bars start with a sweet, buttery biscuit base, then add a layer of chocolate sandwich cookies and a glossy chocolate topping. They come together in minutes and simply set in the fridge, which makes them a handy treat for parties and lunch boxes.

Preparation Steps
Line an 8 x 8 inch (20 x 20 cm) pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang so you can lift the bars out later.
Stir the biscuit crumbs and powdered sugar together, then add the melted butter and mix until the crumbs hold together when pressed.
Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan with the back of a spoon or the bottom of a glass. Chill for 15 minutes.
Heat the cream in a small saucepan until steaming, then pour it over the chopped chocolate. Wait 2 minutes and stir until smooth and glossy.
Scatter most of the crushed sandwich cookies over the chilled base and pour the chocolate over the top, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining cookie pieces on top and press them in lightly.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until firm. Lift out and cut into bars with a hot, dry knife.
Tips & Variations
- Press the base very firmly; a compact layer is what keeps the bars from crumbling.
- Use graham crackers or digestive biscuits for the base, or add a spoonful of peanut butter to the chocolate.
- Store the bars covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.
