Sweet and Spicy Honey Garlic Glaze
This sticky glaze balances sweet honey with hot sauce, plenty of garlic and a smoky hint of paprika. It thickens in just a few minutes on the stove. Brush it over chicken wings, ribs, salmon or grilled vegetables for an easy flavor boost.

Preparation Steps
Whisk the honey, hot sauce, soy sauce and smoked paprika together in a small bowl.
Warm the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and stir for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant but not browned.
Pour in the honey mixture and bring it to a gentle simmer.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring often, until the glaze is syrupy and coats the back of a spoon. It will thicken more as it cools.
Take the pan off the heat. Brush or toss the glaze over cooked wings, ribs or vegetables right before serving, or during the last few minutes of grilling.
Tips & Variations
- Keep the heat moderate; honey burns quickly and turns bitter if it boils hard.
- Add a squeeze of lime or a teaspoon of rice vinegar for tang, or use sriracha for a garlicky kick.
- Store the cooled glaze in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 4 days. Warm it gently before using.
