Air Fryer Cinnamon Apple Wedges with Caramel Cream Dip
Apple wedges brushed with butter and cinnamon turn tender with lightly crisp edges in the air fryer, then get a coating of cinnamon sugar. A quick caramel whipped cream makes a light, sweet dip. It is an easy fall snack or a simple dessert for kids and adults alike.

Preparation Steps
Make the dip first: gently fold the caramel sauce into the whipped cream until streaky and evenly mixed. Cover and chill for at least 10 minutes.
Peel and core the apples and cut them into wedges about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick.
Toss the wedges in a bowl with the melted butter and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon until coated.
Heat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Arrange the apples in a single layer in the basket, working in batches if needed. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, shaking halfway, until tender with lightly crisp edges.
Mix the sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, then toss the warm apples in it. Serve right away with the chilled caramel dip.
Tips & Variations
- Do not crowd the basket; apples that overlap steam instead of crisping.
- Firm apples such as Honeycrisp or Pink Lady also work well, and a pinch of flaky salt in the dip makes a salted caramel version.
- The apples are best fresh. Keep leftover dip covered in the fridge for up to 2 days.
